House Democrats’ promise of a government takeover of our health care system is one-step closer to becoming a reality. It is coming to the floor in the sleaziest, most underhanded way I have ever experienced since coming to Congress. Preliminary scores put the cost of the bill at $940 billion. The American people now can be assured that the Democratic Congress has not listened to them. House Democrats have listened to Obama and Pelosi rather than their constituents.

They anticipate the final bill is going to be so bad they are bending the rules to make sure their vulnerable members do not have to cast a vote for it.  This is an abysmal abuse of democracy.

There are still several Texas congressional members that are planning on voting “yes” to this bill. Below is a list of these members and their office numbers.  I urge you to make calls to these members.   We have to do everything within our power to stop this legislation from becoming a reality.
